Letters to the Goldstone Mission
Just as the results of the Goldstone Mission were inevitable by the biased mandate they were given, so too was it inevitable that there would be many in Israel and around the world who would try, almost desperately, to try to get the commission to see facts and issues that we knew they would ignore. It was inevitable and yet many people valiantly tried to open closed minds, to reach hearts already frozen by hatred and predetermination.
These people deserve our thanks for trying and perhaps, our sympathies. They were doomed to fail because Goldstone and those who joined the mission did so for the glory of the position and not the will to seek truth. Here are some of the attempts people made - long before the mission had completed its task. Sadly, it is clear these people were ignored as thoroughly as the facts on the ground, the history of the conflict and the suffering of Israel's population.
Goldstone's mission did what it was expected to do - certainly no more. Goldstone delivered what we expected him to deliver - definitely no more.
If the Goldstone mission thought they served any good cause or would produce any meaningful results, they were as wrong as the worthless and meaningless report they produced.
