Letters to the Goldstone Mission: Maurice Ostroff
Few tried as hard as Maurice Ostroff, a civilian, an Israeli, a Jew, to reach Richard Goldstone and others. Maurice began writing to Richard Goldstone and opened a dialogue with him, hoping against all hopes that Goldstone's mind would be open to evidence Maurice could provide. A series of letters - some personal and some made public, ensued. Until finally, having read the Goldstone Report in its entirty, Maurice realized Goldstone had played a game of falsehood throughout.
Goldstone fulfilled his mission to the United Nations, producing an inconclusive, inaccurate, report filled with accounts from biased witnesses. In short, he fulfilled his mandate as expected.
